Solagran’s business model involves a combination of licensing the use of existing Bioeffectives^®, funding the development of new Bioeffectives^® and strategic partnering for participation in selected end use markets.

Solagran is the custodian of an enormous body of research, including up to 50 years of scientific and clinical trials with some Bioeffectives^®. Our strategy is to use this research as a basis for a focussed trials program aimed at registering Bioeffectives^® as pharmaceuticals, or positioning them as complementary medicines, biologically active nutritional additives, or as new dietary ingredients, under the regulatory regimes in place in different countries.

Each Bioeffective^® has a wide range of potential applications. So while the current trials programs are focussed and are being funded entirely by Solagran, over time their scope will widen and the funding will be shared with strategic partners seeking to develop and market products that utilise one or more of the attributes of each Bioeffective^®.
